Fear me, the sun, the wind, the rain
I illuminate your life just to watch it fade
My light, a mocking whisper to remain
When tenderly I betray and lead astray.
Darkness, guide my way
Fear me, see me fade
Lead me, tenderly
Darkness, walk with me.
Consumed by light, I follow you into the black.
These days of wonder and merriment
Long forgotten in the blackness.
The memories fading to ashes cold
Met in anguish curse of life.
No one can grasp the vortex that is this life
Fallen under his reign, into oblivion.
An amazing album 👍🏻
It took me a while to get into Boss Keloid’s groove. I knew intellectually that it was my kinda music but I didn’t take to Melted On The Inch like I thought I would. I think listening to lots of modern jazz limbered me up! This is really complicated prog rock with heavy ass guitars added for street cred. I’m so happy that anyone might consider this band cool. They’re fucking cool to me but music like this has been vilified in the past. All hail the new Gentle Giant! Crinklechips
Combining crooned murder ballads with raw, angsty hard rock hooks, Melbourne's The Ugly Kings are a wrecking crew well worth watching. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 15, 2021
